FinUte — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FinUte, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Service

FinUte is a financial management application designed for Australian sole traders. It provides tax estimation, invoicing, receipt scanning, BAS preparation assistance, and ABN lookup services. FinUte is not a registered tax agent and does not provide tax advice.

3. Important Disclaimer

Tax estimates, BAS code calculations, and financial summaries provided by FinUte are indicative only and based on published ATO brackets for the 2025-26 financial year. They should not be relied upon as professional tax advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax returns and BAS lodgements. Always consult a registered tax professional before making financial decisions or lodging returns.

4. User Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate business and financial information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all invoices, tax estimates, and BAS summaries before submission to the ATO or clients.
• You must hold a valid ABN to use invoicing features.

5. AI-Powered Features

FinUte uses Claude AI (by Anthropic) for receipt OCR processing. While we strive for high accuracy, AI-extracted data may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting all AI-processed information before using it for tax or accounting purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, logos, and technology associated with FinUte are the intellectual property of AISH AI PTY LTD. Your financial data remains your property at all times.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, AISH AI PTY LTD shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of FinUte, including but not limited to incorrect tax estimates, late BAS lodgements, or financial losses resulting from reliance on app-generated data.

8. Subscription & Billing

FinUte may offer free and paid tiers. Subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected. You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to FinUte for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users. You may delete your account and all data at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
