AISH AI PTY LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the FinUte application (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal and financial information when you use the App.

• Financial Data: Income, expenses, invoices, GST amounts, and tax estimates.
• Client Data: Client names, ABNs, and contact details for invoicing.
• Receipt Images: Photos of receipts uploaded for AI-powered OCR processing.

2.2 Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser version.
• Usage Data: Features accessed, session duration.

2.3 We Do NOT Collect

• Bank account numbers or passwords.
• Tax File Numbers (TFN).
• We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Calculate tax estimates based on 2025-26 ATO brackets.
• Generate invoices and track payments.
• Process receipt images using Claude AI for OCR extraction.
• Pre-fill BAS codes (G1, 1A, 1B, etc.) for quarterly reporting.
• Perform ABR ABN lookups to verify client details.
• Improve app performance and fix bugs.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Storage: Your data is stored on secure servers hosted in Sydney, Australia.
• Encryption: All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is encrypted.
• Access Control: Only authorised personnel have access to production databases.
• Receipt Processing: Receipt images are processed by Claude AI and are not retained by the AI service after processing.

• Financial Records: Retained for the ATO-required 5-year period unless you request earlier deletion.
• Account Data: Retained while your account is active.
• Deleted Accounts: All data permanently removed within 30 days of deletion request.

• Delete: Request full account and data deletion.
• Correct: Update your business and personal information anytime.

Your rights are governed by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
